Born from Pain „Survival“
Ob da wohl eine Art von Konzept dahinter steckt? Nachdem Born from Pain ihr 2006 veröffentlichtes Album auf den Namen „War“ getauft haben, doppeln die Thrash / Hardcore Recken nun nämlich mit einem Album nach, dass schlicht und einfach den Titel „Survival“ trägt. Ob Born from Pain mit diesem Albumtitel andeuten wollen, dass sie ihren persönlichen Krieg überlebt haben, dass kann an dieser Stelle nicht geklärt werden. Jedoch kann ganz klar festgehalten werden, dass „Survival“ einer Kriegserklärung an die Nackenmuskeln gleichkommt.
Die Mixtur aus Thrash Metal und Hardcore rockt einfach wie die Sau, dass muss man neidlos eingestehen. Und genau dessen sind sich Born from Pain auch bewusst, was wohl auch der Grund ist, dass man auf „Survival“ auf irgendwelche Experimente verzichtet und stattdessen lieber so richtig auf die Zwölf einprügelt. Gekonnt vermischen Born from Pain Thrash Metal
Melodien mit Hardcore Hassbrocken-Passagen, wobei der Thrash-Anteil ganz klar überwiegt. Handwerklich geben sich Born from Pain dabei wie nicht anders zu erwarten keine Blöße, sondern beweisen mit Songs wie „Sound Of Survival“, „The Wolves Are Loose“, „Endgame“ und „Zero Hour“ ihr ganzes Können. Aus diesem Grund werden sowohl Thrash wie auch Hardcore-Freunde ihren Spaß an diesem Album haben, da Born from Pain sehr kurzweilig und vor allem auch nackenbrecherische Unterhaltung bieten.
