Disturbed "Indestructible“
Ich bin wohl nicht der einzige der findet, dass Disturbed mit ihrem letzten Album „Ten Thousand Fists“ eines der besten des Jahres 2005 abgeliefert haben. Und genau aus diesem Grund war ich mehr als nur gespannt, ob die amerikanische Band mit „Indestructible“ das mit „Ten Thousand Fists“ vorgegebene Niveau halten kann.
Disturbed liefern mit „Indestructible“ einen in jeglicher Hinsicht konsequenten Nachfolger zu „Ten Thousand Fists“ ab. So bewegt sich die Band mit dem aktuellen Album wie gehabt in den Gefilden des Modern-Rocks, wobei die musikalisch Marschrichtung auf „Indestructible“ noch eine Spur massentauglicher als auf „Ten Thousand Fists“ ausfällt. Im gleichen Atemzug muss aber auch konstatiert werden, dass Disturbed ebenfalls wie gewohnt mit einer fast schon erschreckenden Leichtigkeit einen Ohrwurm nach dem anderen aus dem Ärmel schüttelt. Schon der eröffnete Titeltrack gibt dabei die Marschrichtung mehr als nur deutlich vor, wobei Disturbed sich mit den darauf folgenden Songs konstant steigern und den Hörer somit bis zum Schluss hochwertig unterhalten. Als Beispiel hierfür seien z.B. die Songs „Inside the Fire“, zu dem es übrigens auch einen wunderbar provokativen und auch leicht plakativen Videoclip gibt, „Criminal“, das sich nach rockigem Start in ein richtiges Groove-Monster verwandelt, oder auch „Façade“, das mit einer wirklich starken Gitarrenarbeit zu gefallen mag, genannt, auch wenn jeder anderer Song von „Indestructible“ locker ebenfalls als Anspieltipp herhalten kann.
Disturbed erfinden sich mit „Indestructible“ zwar nicht neu, aber die Band liefert immerhin ein extrem starkes Album ab an dem man grundsätzlich nichts aussetzen kann. Somit ist „Indestructible“ nicht nur für alle Disturbed-Fans ein muss, sondern auch ein ganz klarere Reinhörtipp für alle Modern-Rock Fans.
