Schandmaul „Sinnbilder“
Schandmaul haben 2008 ihr 10-jähriges Bandbestehen gefeiert, was unter anderem am 18. November 2008 in München mit einem über 3 Stunden langen Konzert gefeiert wurde. Und bevor nun dieses Konzert 2009 auf einer DVD veröffentlicht wird, legen Schandmaul mit „Sinnbilder“ eine ganz spezielle DVD vor, die sich hauptsächlich nur an die ganz Hartgesottenen Fans der sympathischen Schandmäuler richtet.
„Sinnbilder“ unterteilt sich in insgesamt drei Teile: Der erste Teil firmiert unter dem Titel „Sinnbilder – Das Portrait“ und wartet mit ausführlichen Interviews mit allen Schandmaul-Mitgliedern auf, die allesamt ein wenig über den Werdegang der Band plaudern. Teil zwei wiederum entpuppt sich als ein Konzertmitschnitt, der Schandmaul am Wacken 2007 zeigt und qualitativ gewohnt gut umgesetzt ist. Die Band präsentiert sich dabei in absoluter Spiellaune, wobei mit „Herren der Winde“, „Leb“ oder auch „Walpurgisnacht“ ein paar echte Bandklassiker zum Zuge kommen. Im dritten und auch kürzesten Teil der DVD kommt man dann in den Genuss des Bonus-Videos zu „Frei“, einer der besten Songs des aktuellen Albums „Anderswelt“. Technisch wie auch inhaltlich vermag die DVD zu überzeugen, auch wenn wie schon erwähnt sich „Sinnbilder“ nur an die ganz treuen Fans der Band richtet, der Otto-normal Verbraucher z.B. mit dem Interviewteil nicht wirklich viel was anfangen können wird..
